Our 1972 Argosy had *most* of its original KT Lock in place, but was missing key parts like a door latch and key to lock it. I considered ordering the missing parts from other sites but finding this full lock set with two keys was the easiest path forward! It was relatively easy to swap, just needed a good pull to get the old lock out and a nice push to get the new one in. Feels great knowing our old rig is now more secure!
Give them your money
My three young children and I had been locked in our trailer multiple times due to the original lock on our 1977 Argosy being worn out and faulty.
Additionally, when the vintage lock was stolen while it was off my trailer for repairs, I searched high and low for a replacement for weeks. It's almost impossible to find these vintage locks fully intact and functioning. They just never worked all that well. Finding Lawrence Adventure Supply through a member on the Airstream forums was a godsend. I was on the waitlist a couple of days before one came available, and it shipped almost immediately. When I had a small hiccup with installation the owner emailed me back within minutes on a Sunday afternoon with a quick fix and clear directions. So happy somebody started servicing this niche market and isnt' charging an arm and a leg. While it's pricey, I know my items are safely locked away in my trailer when we're not there, and that we won't be locked in our trailer ever again. Thank you so much, Daniel Lawrence! You made my month!
It's a work of art!
