Direct replacement for locks used in vintage campers. Compatible with Airstream and Argosy* campers manufactured between 1970-1977 (and some Minuets through 1979), which were originally equipped with a "KT* Lock."

Design improvements include:
Body and handle are CNC machined from solid aluminum.
Wall thickness of the handle “pocket” is increased by 50% compared to original locks for increased durability.
The roll pin which moves the latch mechanism is 50% larger than the original. All pins are high-strength coiled spring pins rather than slotted pins for increased sheer strength.
The supports for the latch rod are 50% wider than the original design.
Exterior handle is secured using stainless set screws instead of roll pins.
Latch bolt and locking shaft are machined from stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance.

Door handle
I love the door handle. Very easy to remove the old and the new handle was easy to install and works great. I am glad I purchased it. I have a 76 argosy.

Great replacement lock!!!
It is a sturdy good looking lock. we were almost to the point we were going to alter the door on our airstream for something reliable but you guys went through all the work to make a almost(but better) original lock. I did replace my door striker with one from VTG as the original was well worn. In my case I cut the sides off the original striker to make shims and I’m sure the door could use a little adjustment too. Great product please develop more hard or impossible to get parts . If you need someone to help test new parts let us know. 1971 Overlander
